Speaking on the occasion, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem said,
"Dubai serves as the ideal location, especially for
companies investing in research and development activities.
Pacific Controls' move to set up operations in Dubai Techno
Park further reinforces the benefits and quality of
infrastructure available at the development. We are certain
that the company will fully benefit from the various
facilities at the Park, and moreover, the spate of expansion
activities in the region will create an extended market for
their high quality products."
Welcoming the development, Abdullah Ahmed Al Qurashi said,
"This is another world-class addition to the Techno Park.
Pacific Controls will present a new dimension to our
portfolio, adding value to our overall image. We will offer
all the required assistance to the company in establishing
its operations here."
"Setting up operations at the Techno Park is a strategically
significant move for us, especially because this is going to
be our corporate headquarters. Dubai Techno Park is renowned
for its infrastructure facilities and support services.
Besides, the minimal administrative procedures at the Park
and the strategic location of Dubai have also prompted us to
establish our presence here," remarked Dilip Rahulan,
Chairman & CEO of Pacific Control Systems LLC.
"Our new facility will be the first green building in Dubai,
with solar air-conditioning and solar lighting. Pacific
Controls, a global leader in automation technology, will be
using a systems engineering approach to produce a scale that
uses 40 per cent less energy. The building will be
engineered to minimise energy loads so that most of the
electrical needs could be met with by the solar system. We
will have a state-of-the art research and development
center, which will focus on developing environment-friendly
products and remote monitoring systems," added Rahulan.
