Cityscape Architectural Review Awards 2006
Cityscape Dubai 2006 was the largest
business-to-business realestate event in the world. The
Cityscape Architectural Review Awards are firmly established
as a significant event in the global architectural calendar.
Under the theme 'Design For An Emerging World', the awards
aimed to recognise and promote excellence in architecture
and design in the developing world from the Middle East,
Africa, Central & Eastern Asia, Australasia (excluding
Japan, New Zealand and Australia) and South America.
Five of the most recognised and highly acclaimed
international industry figures have been assembled to judge
the entries. The panel consisted of Paul Finch, Editor, The
Architectural Review; Jack Pringle, President of the Royal
Institute of British Architects (RIBA); Raj Rewal, Director
Raj Rewall Associates; the renowned Ken Yeang; Fatih Rifki,
American University of Sharjah and Suha Ozkan of the Aga
Khan Awards.
This event was sponsored by Swarovski, Pacific Controls,
