There is an early warning system to detect potential
fres before smoke or fames activate the normal fre
alarm system. In addition, fre alarm buttons for manual
operation and devices triggered by heat are installed at
multiple locations in the building. There is a fre damper
system to limit the effect of any fre to the smallest area
possible by avoiding the risk of fre spreading through
ventilation tubes and air conditioning systems.
The Pacifc Controls service desk provides a single point
of customer contact that is staffed 24x7 by experienced
engineers. In addition, Pacifc Controls offers remote
hands to carry out maintenance to servers and
equipment located in the data centre and specialist
support on request. Software is actively managed to
ensure that the systems are kept up to date with
patches, fxes and security updates applied as soon as
they are issued.
Pacifc Controls offer a complete stack of managed
services ranging from dedicated servers to fully managed
services and cloud computing solutions whereby a
customer’s entire IT infrastructure is managed right from
the data centre up to the virtualization layer. The IT
infrastructure is consolidated and enabled with a stack of
multiple hypervizors, to allow hardware virtualization using
multiple operating systems, which includes middle layer
management of the network, servers, storage, backup
and other services.
